EV Charger Installation Reminder
According to the filing instructions for Federal Form 8911, the refueling property must be in an eligible census tract. Refueling property placed in service after 2022 will not be treated as qualified alternative fuel vehicle refueling property unless the property is placed in service in an eligible census tract. Please check the 11-digit census tract GEOIDs code for the property where the EV charger is to be installed before purchasing.
